Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth

The story had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, several elements hindered its completion. Firstly, the protagonist was quite challenging to engage with, as she lacked a distinct personality. Additionally, there was a noticeable absence of character development for all characters, particularly the protagonist. The overwhelming amount of backstories intertwined with the main plot made it hard to follow.

Despite these challenges, there were glimmers of brilliance within the narrative. The world-building was intricate and vivid, painting a setting that was both enchanting and immersive. The steampunk elements added a unique flair, with mechanical wonders and Victorian aesthetics creating a visually captivating backdrop. Moreover, the themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption were woven into the story, offering profound moments that resonated with the audience.

With some refinement, focusing on deepening the characters and streamlining the plot, this story has the potential to truly shine. By giving the protagonist a more defined arc and allowing the supporting characters to evolve alongside her, the narrative could become more engaging and emotionally impactful.

You have to watch through the end credits for each episode to see scenes that are integral to the main story. Which is really annoying. The story is decent and many of the characters are good. There are a couple pretty dark parts, but for the most part this is a sweet, enjoyable and fun adventure.
