Eken Babu

You can watch with your family including children. Worth watching this. And it give the detective series in different dimension with the Eken Babu character than the as usual detective character. Sometume you will feel the sequences are a bit slow but you will not feel boring.

The first 5 seasons were awesome in terms of acting and stories. But in Season 6 neither the story was good nor the acting. Eken babu, Mr. Anirban Chakraborti whom I loved to watch doesn't seem like at his best in this season 6. Honestly speaking, we loved Eken babu series till the release of The eken Movie. When The eken movie was released, the boringness of this Bengali web series started. The first trio was awesome. In fact, Bapi babu acted so natural that we got to know the person as Bapi babu, not even know his original name. Recent Bapi babu and Pramatha didn't match themselves with the characters.

I just finished all episodes of the series and this one is definitely the best series Hoichoi has ever produced. Great acting by Mr Anirban - Eken babu and very strong story. Waiting for the 4th series.

Just after watching a 2 or 3 episodes I felt that the person Eken was trying to make a replica of Jatayu with funny attitude. So was not sure if I should continue watching and complete the season. But after watching the first season I must say this is a kind of fresh air. The story is simple but Eken Babu played it well with his funny attitude and dialouge and made a simple Bengali detective story special and worth watching. He knows the difference between "comic" and "bharamo" and he handled it well. The direction could have been a bit better but no complain. A must watch for those who love Bengali detective series.

Eken Babu is a one-of-a-kind sleuth who solves complicated and twisted mysteries in his own inimitable style and with some unbeatable comic timing. The stories are quite unique and original, making this series 100% bingeworthy!
