Donny's Bar Mitzvah

Crazy funny movie. An absurdity that probably shouldn't even exist. If you love absurd movies then it's a must watch.

Donny's Bar Mitzvah is a kick in the pants to bland, boring PC humour, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

It puts the fun back in dysfunction and goes where modern "comedy" wouldn't dare.

Absurdist, irreverent, juvenile and really, really funny.

Say cheese!

Completely juvenile and low brow.

Lowest Common Denominator is what they were going for and that's exactly what you get. Absolutely nonsensical. They went out of their way to make it extra disgusting. A poor message for younger viewers.

I couldn't help but laugh, but I have a dark sense of humor. If you dare to watch it, stay until the very end.

Keep Away From Children.

Zucker Brothers style humor with a lot of trite jokes. Nicholas Gallucci, who worked with Tim & Eric on two separate youtube projects in 2013, adds every "Awesome Show" edit and effect imaginable. The blending of these two styles of humor doesn't work well in my opinion.

Oh, I'm so glad I was directed towards this amazing film. I thought comedies were gone for good after (quite literal) 'This is the end'.

Apart from already mentioned absolute thrill ride from start to finish, I couldn't just stop and contemplate how much work, effort and passion went into this indie project.

If you want a good, solid laugh, just as in the good old days - watch this hidden obscure gem. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

I wish there were more real, full on comedies nowadays. Eh, at it least it was good while it lasted... Member 'Grandma's Boy'? 'Napoleon Dynamite'?

10/10 from me, creators deserve this.
