Reviewers say 'Loki' is acclaimed for its intricate narrative, character depth, and Tom Hiddleston's performance. The series excels in merging time travel, mythology, and sci-fi, with standout visual effects and a strong score. The Loki-Mobius dynamic is celebrated for its humor and chemistry. Loki was even better than I thought it would be and is easily one of the best Marvel series to date. Loki plays a huge part in this newest phase of the MCU, everything from the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie to the newest Ant-Man is tied into Loki. That's because Loki introduces us to the TVA (The Time Variance Authority). Besides Thanos, Loki is easily the next best villain turned antihero in the MCU. His evolution and character arc from a villain to antihero is done perfectly. As good as the writing is for this show it's Tom Hiddleston's performance as Loki that makes this the best of the Disney Marvel shows. What more can be said about Hiddleston that hasn't already been said? He's such an underrated actor and his best work has come as Loki. This also has fantastic performances from a great cast that includes Owen Wilson, Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan, Sophia Di Martino, among others. I really can not recommend this incredible series enough.
First, even if you dislike marvel this show is completely different from marvel and is more mature and deep.
This show has so much phylpsopical depth about time and the weight and value of desicions and life. The concepts all make sense within themselves and it is really a show that makes you think. I have NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. It almost never gets to a Marvel big cliche epic fight and actually explores the concepts and phylosophy for once.
I cant stress enough how interesting and unique this show is.
(It also has subtle critisisms on governmental figures and authorities claiming to the right thing.)
It is also really creative with all kinds of places, times, people, and crazy solutions that actually make sense. So many memorable crazy moments it's really special.
The visuals are beautiful, vibrant but not over-the-top colours and also beautiful music to add to the expreience.
The show just has a mysterious, cool vibe that stays with you.
This show manages to be both fun and very phylosophical with great characters, it's an underapriciated masterpiece.
Season 2 is just as good as season one if not better so it stands this test.
The only reason for it being a 9 instead of 10 is the characters being a little (just a tiny bit) too cartoonish, but its also charming so dont let it stop you from watching this amazing show.

An incredible journey through the multiverse. The writing is tight and super interesting by captivating conceptual realities with engaging visuals. The exploration of Loki's journey to enlightenment past his villainous trajectory with the past, his brother Thor, the war with Thantatos and his family hierarchy back in Arsgard all probable realities coalesce in this fantasy. Tom Hilldleton and Owen Wilson have an incredible witty bantar throughout that keeps getting better. Please give them best actor awards. This is a must watch it twice just to savior the nuances of these fantastic characters. The whole cast is great and if you love quantum physics you'll love this. Cheers.
Marvel's Loki is a captivating and thought-provoking television series that delves into the complex and intriguing character of Loki, the God of Mischief. The show masterfully explores themes of identity, free will, and the nature of reality, while expanding the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in unexpected and exciting ways.
Tom Hiddleston delivers a compelling performance as Loki, capturing the character's mischievous charm, cunning intellect, and underlying vulnerability with a convincing blend of humor and depth. The supporting cast is equally impressive, with Owen Wilson as the charming and unpredictable Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as the enigmatic Ravonna Renslayer, and Sophia Di Martino as the mysterious Sylvie, providing Loki with intriguing companions and adversaries throughout his journey.
Loki's story takes him on a mind-bending journey through the vast expanse of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization tasked with maintaining the sacred timeline of the multiverse. As Loki grapples with his past actions and attempts to escape the TVA's clutches, he encounters a vast array of alternate versions of himself, each with their own unique perspectives and motivations.
The show's exploration of time travel and the multiverse is both entertaining and engaging. It raises intriguing questions about the nature of reality, the consequences of altering the past, and the possibility of multiple universes existing simultaneously. Loki's journey through these concepts adds a new layer of complexity to the MCU's mythology, while providing ample opportunities for thrilling action sequences and thought-provoking philosophical musings.
Personally, Season 1 of Loki is stronger than Season 2, but both seasons offer engaging narratives and captivating character development. Season 1 excels in its exploration of Loki's complex psychology and his journey of self-discovery, while Season 2 delves deeper into the mysteries of the multiverse and introduces new and intriguing elements to the MCU.
Loki is a worthwhile watch for fans of the MCU and science fiction. While it doesn't quite reach the heights of the very best Marvel shows, it offers a captivating and thought-provoking adventure that will keep you entertained and engaged.
