This movie is just mere adult art movie in short. Nathicharami tells the tale of a convoluted journey of a sexually awakened widow who is unable to separate her emotions from sex. The inability to experience erotic pleasure sans emotions lands her in a psychological crisis... Coming to performances of the lead actors, it becomes painful to sit in the theater and watch them enact love. nothing more to say. just concluding!

This movie shows the story of a widow who feels depressed and lonely after losing her loving husband in an accident and how she wants to fulfill her sexual desires. The film treads some of the less explored path in Sandalwood cinema by taking on gender equality and shows how our society thinks of having physical relationships outside marriage which is itself considered a taboo subject. The film scores really well in all aspects. The background music, cinematography and acting by all the actors especially Shruthi Hariharan and the national award winning actor Sanchari Vijay is really good. However what bogs down the movie is its slow pace. At times the movie seems slow and could have been shorter. But nonetheless this movie is a bold step towards gender sensitivity and you can watch it if you like to watch realistic movies without any unnecessary drama.

I'm really proud to see a Kannada movie of this calibre. None of the usual commercial nonsense here. Just excellent acting by everyone and a unique storyline.

I was so impressed with the non judgemental way in which grey areas are covered in the story.

So.... I'm 31 unmarried not had a girlfriend (in my life) also but definitely had quite some crushes. But this Bollywood influenced materialistic world that looks (physical appearance) is more at priority. I wish even i had girlfriend or a companion but later when i see the same couple fighting and being miserable makes me feel staying single is only better were there is no pains of loosing a person through death or getting separated. Now I'm stuck in between should i get married for my parents sake were i will be putting another life at stake who believed in me that i will take care of her for the rest of her life or do what makes me comfortable ignoring my likes..... thank you for making such movies. It will make me think about what should i do which is best for my future. ONLY TIME CAN TELL.............

This is not a perfect movie. But the subject it talks is very good and a much needed for our society. The movie values individuals and their emotions. We all are human beings and we all have physical desires and emotions and everybody have to fulfill them in one way or another.
