Unusual setting

The setting seems to be Xinjiang, the language is mostly Mandarin in the version I saw but there was some other language, probably Uighur. Romantic settings, I thought the most interesting thing about it was the focus on archery and the representation of the old archer who was founder of the school. Story fairly unexceptional but the settings and cultural content very unusual and worth watching.
