Zusammenfassung
Reviewers say 'Star Trek: Picard' elicits mixed reactions. Seasons 1 and 2 face criticism for poor writing, inconsistent narratives, and straying from classic Star Trek themes, leaving many disappointed. However, Season 3 is lauded for its engaging plot, nostalgic cast reunion, and enhanced writing. This season is celebrated as a return to form, providing a fulfilling conclusion and reviving the franchise's spirit. Overall, the series is viewed as a divisive entry, with Season 3 notably excelling.

I watched season 3 over 2 days, I paused the episode if i was distracted by my wife. I rewound the episode if I missed something (I'm as old as Picard, give me a break). Loved that all of the next generation (NG) characters were involved and had grown into their roles and brought with them their own back stories of who they had grown to be since NG.
Loved 7 of 9 (Anneka), I'm more in love with her now rather than in lust with her while with Voyager (that's a compliment, I think/hope) and with her new love interest could create another series. Reicher is more relaxed in his role and Worf blew me away with his wit and style, (I want a beard like his). Jordie surprised me with his big blue eyes, I thought the script was weak when he showed a yellow streak. Bring back Scotty!

After 30 years of torturing with some half-baked experiments the real Star Trek emerged! No-one, literally no-one is able to replace iconic Picard and his crew. Finally, in the third season they've gathered all of them (including Seven of Nine from Janeway's ship) in an big adventure across galaxies. Fine story and same old feeling of sense and wisdom which was adorned in 90s show are here again, including magical music and blue "star trek" fonts (ending credits of the 3rd season). That and those crew is legandary and timeless. Hope they will continue in these star trek for many more episodes.
The first season has been mediocre. I didn´t expect much and had limited fun. The 2nd season was just so terrible that I refuse to write about it.
But in the 3rd season they finally got the twist and deliver what all fans of Star Trek and especially TNG have been waiting for! This finally feels like Star Trek after decades of boredom and stupidity. We finally meet again with all the great characters that we all missed. Even characters like Rafi who has been a real pain in the *ss in the 1st and 2nd season developes nicely and isn´t so overacted as before. It really feels like in times of Rick Berman and Michael Piller. Thanks!

Season one and especially two have been pretty disappointing, but season 3 is completely different. Especially with episode 4. This is now the first proper Star Trek sine Voyager ended in 2001. I'm thankful that someone approved the script for season 3. Yes it has its flaws, but damn it this is real Star Trek - something I've sorely missed. Jonathan Frakes shows how good he is as a director again. Several scenes reminded me of First Contact.
I sincerely hope that season 3 is successful enough that we will get more Star Trek like it. This is very corny, but I really feel the world is a better place with Star Trek - as long as they stick to a positive and optimistic message!

After fun but uneven seasons one and two - during which I was glad to see Q - Star Trek: Picard really takes off when it gets the gang back together for season three. Their chemistry is what make it all work back in the day, and it really pays off now to see them all together again.
Fantastic supporting cast in Michelle Hurd and Burton the Younger et al, and of course some well-earned cameos from familiar faces. Some viewers will gripe about a nostalgia-grab - but who cares: I'm just grateful to see my ol' pals back on the bridge doing what they do best.
I've lopped off a star each for seasons one and two, which were all up just a tad disconnected and humourless, but season three is Trek to the core: fun, well-scripted, slightly ridiculous and very good-hearted. Glad it's here.

- WissenswertesThe first season is set in 2399, 20 years after the events of Star Trek - Nemesis (2002) (which was set in the year 2379). Using the Stardate format established in Raumschiff Enterprise: Das nächste Jahrhundert (1987), this would place the start of the series just after Stardate 76000.
- PatzerCommodore Oh often wears sunglasses. Star Trek lore establishes that Vulcans have an inner eyelid to protect against harsh sunlight on their desert planet. Oh's shades are a fashion statement, not a protective measure.
- Crazy CreditsThe opening credits feature a piece of the sky cracking off and floating through various locations from Picard's life before finally used to reform Picard's profile.
The elements in the title sequence vary depending on the season and its events:- The first season features a Borg cube and the planet Romulus.
- The second season features a Borg ship, a wormhole and hourglass, and the Borg Queen's silhouette.
- The third season does not have an opening titles sequence.
