Excellently made film from every angle. All departments seemed to have found the rhythm under the creative stewardship of Sameer Vidhwans and achieved their goal of creating something soothing for the viewers. Just wow!!!

I am surprised why this biopic has not bagged multiple awards. Both the lead actors, Lalit Prabhakar & Bhagyashree Milind have given fabulous performances.

The serious moments interspersed with subtle humour and emotions is the USP of this film. The story, screenplay, cinematography, direction, production design, and acting are just brilliant. A must watch for all connoisseurs.

The movie is a brave attempt to showcase the struggles of the couple from that era against the narrow minds of the society which are not entirely vanished even today. One must praise the leading man for his stand to go against the society and his determination towards women education. Overall the movie is good. Good character development, brilliant acting performances along with good narration as well. The movie educates you not only about the value of education and determination but also about the value of one's health.

This film is based on the life of India's first female doctor, Anandi Gopal Joshi. So, naturally it's the biggest plus point of the film. As in 19th century in British India, it was very difficult specially for a woman to achieve something like that. I totally loved Bhagyashree Milind as Anandi. Though it's a biopic, it's presented in an entertaining way specially in the 1st half.

This film is not only a story of an inspiring woman but also a very good love story. I'm sure you'll be emotional in the climax. There's always someone behind these inspiring characters and for Anandi it was her supportive husband, Gopal. Lalit Prabhakar portrayed the character with perfection. It also won National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues. An Inspiring film & of course A Must Watch.

This movie was always on my wishlist but couldn't see it in theaters. Watched it on my TV with my wife. Movie is fantastic. Actors have done amazing job. I want to specially mention, director has done fantastic job. I loved it and it will always be in my collection of motivational & inspiring movies. A must recommend for all
