Chucky's Back and He's Got Potential

The series bring the traditional nice, small town vibe with new narratives. Pretty impressed with the doll's comeback. Hope they don't rely on jump scares, fan service or nostalgia too much. Keep it fresh, relevant, gore and smart! Go Chucky!

Old story, new perspective

Everyone who loved the first movies so much, lynched this production aimlessly.

This is ridiculous, because this show is better than most of the 'chucky' movies.

Moreover, Zachary Arthur has done a very good acting.

The cast from the movies deliver. The other do not.

Apart from the awkward and strange acting of the new cast members, this holds up well to the movies. The teens are the worst part of this show. Cringeworthy performances all around. I took it off 2 stars for their terrible acting. The rest of the gang from the movies deliver everything I've come to expect from the Child's Play movies. Without them this wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

It has great music and writing

I never knew that this show was on tv. Again I have to say that bad promotions on horror shows will do that. I was curious about this show when I saw a clip of it on youtube. Now I am hooked. I never thought a tv show about a creepy doll would work well in tv. But this show is really good. I also find it very funny that Jennifer Tilly is in this show acting as Tiffany and acting as her self. I find it very clever. Also I like that each season to different story lines. I also enjoy the music it can sound haunting or sad but it puts the mood in each episode of the different story time lines. I am very happy watching this show.

Great to have chucky back

After the star studded but off brand reboot, it's great to have our actual chucky back with the creators and some original cast back too. It's weird how the show goes from cheesy to serious but chucky as an anti hero is a great take. The humor was always the most important part to me and I'm glad it's still intact. Also nick's touch can be seen in it too but not so heavy handedly.
