I know it is quite a pity to call this movie dull and dreadful, because it is based on real stories and real people who lost a sister/brother/son/daughter due to drugs. Despite this fact, the acting was so poor and there was lack of action. Nothing meaningful happened in the entire movie. The actions were scattered here and there, there was no correlation between the characters, and everyone was dealing on their own ways. Very painful to watch, hopefully not too long. I think it would be better if this was a documentary. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more.
Cheap movie, primitive plot, bad acting. Who are these people who put 10/10? The film crew?
This movie plot had great potential but suffered from a lack of action.
I ended up picking up my phone about an hour in and it just never really grabbed me.
Not the worst I've seen but I wouldn't reccomend.

Yes, the acting is very meh.
Yes, there is a bit of religious meh involved.
But the 'Message' about legalized Opiod abuse is 'Very there' It is a powerful film about a small town facing an epidemic of legal drug abuse, & how the deal with it.
In my opinion the Big farma may ( tinfoil hat time ) negatively rate this low budget, throw away rental True(ish) story.

This is better than most reviews here give. Tough subject and Tough to view. Great plot twist at the end. Misery is real and Misery is hard to recreate. One of the reviews here admit they stopped watching at 20 minutes but blasted the entire movie. This is Misery drama. Don't expect to feel good. I recommend watching when you are open and willing to view another person's perspective. Drugs have impacted society in such a negative way. This community shares their story. Given a changed, it can be enjoyed. It is filed in a post covid - inexpensive - filmography style. Take it for what it is and don't expect more.
