Downward Twin

Downward Twin otherwise known as Twinsanity is a thriller that follows the Lifetime formula, I'm shocked they didn't make this.

It tells the story of two identical twins and how one tries to break away from the obsessive hold of the other. I'm sure you can tell what happens next to the letter, and yes it really is that predictable.

The twins are fantastic and deliver a great performance as does Angie Everhart who it was very nice to see up on screen again. Everyone else is passable but the plot is so generic and so color by numbers its hard to really enjoy.

No surprises, no twists, just that standard Lifetime Original formula where once you've seen one you've seen them all.

Standard harmless stuff but light on entertainment value.

I found it an average thriller, not in a bad way, with psychological Horror undertones , but the few. It is about a pair of twins where one of them wants to start a new life and the other one is not that convinced of letting go.

The guy is pretty hot by the way and this was one of the things that kept me watching apart from the mystery of not knowing exactly what was going on.

I don't often write reviews, but when I have the extreme misfortune of viewing something so pathetic and worthless, I feel an obligation to do my part in making sure no other person ever has to see this again. Imagine if someone asked you to write a script in a foreign language that you don't speak, what kind of nonsensical dialogue would you come up with? Chances are you'll find it in this script. They must've saved money by having various members of the homeless community direct the "film" in exchange for drugs and sandwiches. Avoid at all costs

Another reviewer, obviuosly female, watched the entire movie because the "guy is pretty hot."

You know? Give me a break! That is not what you watch a movie for. Maybe a porno, but not a "horror" movie. Women like that are to be avoided, guys! They will never stop their wandering Jezebel eyes.

The movie? It was okay, and it could have been much, much better. I am a writer, and the first thing I can notice, if that is the problem, is the script writing. So many things were done and said that decreased the suspense level. And so many things weren't said that could have increased it.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Middle-of-the-road, sad movie-making and sad Jezebel reviewer, "gimailito." Grow up.

Oh boy, this film felt like a made for t.v. film. First the good bits, which there are some. The twins were nice to look at, the story was okay but could have gone into more detail, the acting was hit and miss with all involved with the film. The bad bits, As my title suggests, I was waiting for something to happen, something to kick the film into drive. It just seemed to go on and on with nothing keeping you wanting to see more. The story could have gone into a bit more depth with it. So all in all the film was just okay, if the actresses want to get into acting in a bigger way then they need to start getting better scripts with more depth.
