Its remarkable, seductive, touching, gentle freshness makes this short film, with a minimalistic story but a heart breaking one , with beautiful acting and delicate humor just special.

A guy, his mate girl in smoke break. His feelings for her, carefully hidden, her dreams.

And something working like a sort of spell because, obvious, you are fascinated by their dialogue, small gestures, looks and the steps of a naif , teen-like game.

But it works in great way.

And this makes Smoke Break more than a good, real good short film but kick to a smile opening introspection about yourself.

In short, just admirable.

I loved this short film! The characters are so real and the storyline is relatable. There is a lot of humor and heart packed into 8 minutes! Another great Light in the Attic film and spot on performances by Ashley Killips and AJ Orille.
