2017: A Year in the Life of a Year

Wow this was terrible. Just nothing about this show was good. The so called jokes seemed like they'd asked a drunk guy, 3 seconds away from passing out to tell them a joke and his nonsensical mumbling were written down.

Honestly, who in the hell oked this show to be made. The money would have been much better off being set alight rather than make this tripe.

I don't know if they thought, let's try and be surreal and completely missed the mark or whether they are just trying to be generically funny and fell massively short.

Either way, I'm doing you a massive favour by telling you to avoid this rubbish.

Rhys Thomas takes a sideways satirical look back at 2017. Although his approach works well with the Brian Pern mockumentaries (Pern is referenced in the 'in memorium' segment.) I think it misfired a little here.

We got some out of context clips, new footage some of it blends well such as Martin Jarvis reading 'The Exorcist' for kids bedtime stories. I also liked Tony Way as Rag n Bone man.

However this just needed to be approached differently in order to be funnier.
