24 Hours to Hell and Back

I wanted to like this new series as I remember GR doing series in the U.K. maybe 15 years ago. But, this appears to be so scripted and "fake". Maybe it will get better but show lost it's place on the DVR. I have a hard time understanding how with editing tv shows just can't hold their audience, at least make me want to watch the next episode.

Being a huge Gordon Ramsay show of course I watched 24 Hours to Hell and Back. Was it my favourite format for one of his shows? No, it wasn't?

Was it still enjoyable? Of course it was.

The whole show was exhausting just watching it.

I'm not sure if its all that believable. Are you legally allowed to work your staff that long? Isn't it dangerous under those conditions?

Did they sign some kind of waiver to do so?

The mind actually boogles.

I'd be curled up in a corner under a chair after 10 hours regardless of if Gordon was going to come yell and scream at me, actually the idea of that excites me. Lol.

Unlike Kitchen Nightmares, its not a show I would bother rewatching.

Compaired to kitchen nightmares this series moves too fast and looses some of its original appeal . The 24 hours deadline does not make up for this . Lets face it , Gordon Ramsay throwing rotten food at a lousy "chef " is still very entertaining , hehe . In some episodes u wonder if owners should be helped , but then u need get creative and find some employee-s that are likable so u can hope they can keep their jobs , as to keep some kind of intrest in a good outcome. All in all this should really be rated clearly lower then the kitchen nightmare series UK and US .

Ramsay takes on more nightmare restaurants in a tv sensational series as he swears his way through the hours.

He shows. Tenderness while slapping his palm against the back of his hand, simplifying every menu in black T-shirt and whites as he is in the kitchen.

It's the same formula as nightmares and the other shows as he swears his way across an hour, if you have seen one chef Ramsay story, you have seen them all.

It makes you wonder what is the motivation for restaurants wanting to appear on the show? Is it to get a free makeover or to appear on a reality show for some free publicity and a makeover done quickly and cheaply- like a Vegas hotel that will collapse if knocked, the knock test being the gold standard of quality.

This show seems hastily produced and rushed. I understand the 24 hours thing but Kitchen Nightmares and Robert Irvine's 'Restaurant Impossibe' were much better. I hope this gets better because my wife and I love to watch Ramsey on Hell's Kitchen.
