Venus

Although it started off slow, I love how the movie evolved to show all the different relationships among the characters especially between Syd and Ralph. It's refreshing to watch a movie involving a Indian family and their culture, and how the family responds to their child's transition.

Delicately sensitively and respectfully well put all of this with a wink a smile and humour! The actors where endearing with a delivery that was exquisitely well portrayed and above all with compaction and honesty! A must! XXX.

Loved that they treated the subject with full dignity and made it look super authentic .... glad someone handled it so beautifully other than making it look and feel over the top!!

Amazing actors - each and everyone in the movie. Powerful acting. The movie makes you feel and understand that just because it is out of the conventional doesn't mean it is bad

Venus is must watch for the sensitive and interlaced portrayal of issues that have only recently been seen on celluloid. Being Trans in the South Asian community is a complex reality and Venus tackles it deftly. The story is layered beautifully where parenthood is seen through two prisms simultaneously. Great acting by all and sufficient doses of humour makes it an amazing watch.
