Revathi is a do gooder . She is always helping people - brave and sensible . Her father Visu is in trouble for the same reason . Both father and daughter lead a middle class existence happily .
She chances upon an advertisement asking for a wife . She responds and meets Raju . Raju and Revathi instantly click and decide to marry . She meets his family which is full of eccentric people . His mother has some incurable disease . His father Nagesh is talking in shallow dummy phones for some business . His brother is a drunk , His sister is deranged. Revathi is shocked at this bizarre family . Raju assures her that he is the only sane person in the family and by marrying him she will be a care taker of his entire family .
With much misgivings she marries him in a small temple .
To her shock , The first night itself she is assaulted by her husband .
Totally unexpected at this plot twist she starts digging . The story slowly comes out when he is wheeled to the hospital. The four family members are normal and sane . Its Raju who needs psychiatric help .
His first wife was Saranya . They had an arranged marriage . She was in love with Ravi who turned out to be a cheat . Leaving him aside she married Raju thanx to her father's advice . Sadly Ravi turned up with some photos of them together. Shocked beyond core at the reality of his new bride Raju gets a mental break down . Saranya tries to mend fences and explain but his family would hear none of it . She returns back to her father's house sad and lonely .
Raju's family all around are trying to act bizarre to bring him back to normalcy thanx to the doctor's advice .
Revathi decides to teach a lesson to Ravi . She groups the entire family and acts as a rich heiress . Since Ravi has never seen any of Raju's family he falls for this trap. A few twists later , he is taught a lesson. In the end , Revathi backs out of this sham marriage. Saranya and Raju unite. Visu is a treat to watch with his tactics as usual . Over all a fine family fare .
