The graphics are also noteworthy - the characters are drawn with clear details, and many scenes and dialogues are transferred almost one-to-one from the Tim Burton film, which gives the game a familiar and stylish mood. And the melody in the initial intro of the game is so memorable that I still dream that someone who knows how to make a full-fledged composition out of its 8-bit version.

The plot completely repeats Burton's film of the same name, transferring it into a gloomy Gotham, where Batman fights dangerous enemies, including a Penguin, a Catwoman, an Organ Grinder and other rivals. The storyline is maintained throughout the game and includes key scenes and battles, just like in the movie. This allows you to feel like a part of the original story and relive memorable moments from the film.

The gameplay in "Batman Returns" is varied and well balanced. The game combines levels where Batman fights enemies in beat 'em up mode with missions involving puzzles and challenges. Batman has various gadgets in his arsenal, such as batarangs and a hook, which allow him to cope with opponents and overcome obstacles. The use of these devices adds a strategic element, because each gadget has its own application on the levels, which makes the gameplay exciting and intense.

The game is not easy, its complexity requires a good reaction and skill. However, this is what makes it so addictive: each level brings a new challenge, and famous bosses like Catwoman, Penguin on a yellow duck or Organ Grinder leave an unforgettable impression. Each main opponent has unique attacks and requires a separate approach, which makes the battles with them truly memorable. So much effort was spent to cope with the bosses at the last levels. But fortunately, the game has codes that allow you to re-launch the toy to enter a set of characters and be at the level that has not been passed before. You will pass it and get the code so that, if necessary, you can start later from the last stage that has not been completed. Comfortable. A kind of preservation, which in principle is not provided for in Dandy games.

The variety of missions is also noteworthy. In addition to the classic combat episodes, there are also levels with Batmobile chases, which adds speed and drive. These moments stand out against the background of the main part of the game, bringing a sense of freshness and dynamics.
