Fatale-Station

Tried watching this, but it starts off by landing the viewer in the middle of an ongoing story, without providing any context or background for viewers to understand what's happening. This lack of context gets worse as new characters and events are introduce in an apparently random manner. There is little in the way of continuity due to extremely poor editing, so the more the story advances, the less one is able to make sense of it at all! One can only question why productions such as this, with poor scripts and editing even make it to any streaming platform. It's just too silly a series to waste any time watching!

Very good noir series. One of the best french canadian shows I have seen.

I saw this on arte TV with dubbed German. The German title is "Unerwünscht" (Unwanted). I saw a review headline saying it's French Canadian "Twin Peaks". Well, maybe, but with less tongue in cheek humor. There really isn't a humorous element to this series at all. A woman comes into a a town where the inhabitants do not want her to stay. It's a twisty turny story-line with numerous subplots. The subplots were fine for quite a few episodes, until the very end of Season 2. At that point the show lost the original "punch" it started out with. I really liked this series and binged on it a bit. That is, until towards the end of Season 2. If a season 3 is made I would watch it. The actors performed well, I think (despite dubbing). I don't know any of them because they are French Canadian. You do really have to suspend your disbelief for this one. If you like quirky and somewhat atmospheric intrigues this series might be for you. Not sure when or if it will be available in the United States.

What a waste of talent! They all deserve better and so do we. The butcher in particular was so good, but this was just insane. It seemed like it was going somewhere but mostly it was just a bunch of subcharacters at the service of the main character.
