What an absurd, cruel-and absolutely romantic and adorable-animated comedy short film! It's not often that I genuinely laugh out loud while watching animated shorts, but this one had me bursting with laughter.
The characters are hilarious, especially the chameleon protagonist and the almost Garfield-like flies he enjoys as snacks. They're already funny just by the way they look, let alone what they do throughout the film. Choosing a chameleon as the main character is brilliant-it adds so much to scenes of embarrassment and that classic "I just want to disappear" feeling. Kudos to the creators for that choice!
But the biggest laugh came from the strangely cruel twist at the end. I found myself thinking, "Why on earth...?"-and then just cracked up.
