Deep Web XXX

Having accessed the deep web, a man goes through the various videos found on one of the most popular sites available.

Overall, this was a slight disappointment of a film but did have some merit to it. When this one works is due to the strong and visceral scenes of depravity and perversions accessed here, which starts immediately as the first viewed clip features a group of asked participants at a bondage-themed sex party flogging, whipping, and generally humiliating victims in a series of debaucherous antics. That's merely the start of this as it descends into increasingly more lurid and violent scenarios, including a woman tortured by an unknown assailant, the intense perversions displayed in an extreme sex dungeon featuring unrestrained whipping, fisting, and other intense sexually-charged acts, and witnessing the effects of a drug trial gone wrong among others. When viewed in this manner, it creates a rather slick slice of exploitation with the experience moving quickly to the next piece of sleazy cinema as the openness to include such topics works nicely. Beyond that, though, there's very little to this one that stands out. The random nature of the whole setup, simply seeing a man watch these random clips through an online web browser supposedly linking him to the dark web, is an immensely bland and uninteresting setup that doesn't strike any kind of tension or fear within the segments which are just clicked on and watched. That leaves so much of this one to work on the power of the imagery and perversion of the presented themes within the shorts which does get quite brutal but lacks a point to make any kind of lasting impression. It doesn't help in the slightest that every interstitial cutting back to the viewer surfing around these clips doesn't react or do anything which lessens their impact, especially with this one relying on sex so much to sell itself, those who aren't swayed by the perversions featured here will be put off and find this lackluster and dull due to this setup and tends to harm this one overall.

I love horror films and I'm always looking for more extreme titles and without a doubt this is one of them. Deep Web XXX is compose out of various extremely graphics shorts that are been watch by a man that is exploring the deep web. The short films are just great. The acting is very good, the effects are awesome the music is perfect and the lighting is great.

Overall Deep Web XXX is for does who likes extreme horror films like Guinea Pig, American Guinea Pig, Salo 120 Days of Sodom or Grotesque.

Gotta give some credit here. The framing narrative for this anthology, that of a random bloke surfing an extreme porn site on the deep web, is a very interesting idea. Unfortunately, it is also very boring to watch a guy as he is watching porn on the internet. An idea more interesting in concept than execution, I think.

Well this sure lives up to the XXX in that title. There is straight up some pornography in this. Fully visible anal fisting and masturbation. Definitely not a film to watch with your parents.

There are some decently shocking bits and pieces here towards the end I suppose, but there is even more pretentious torture porn nonsense that spends more time showing people scream and squirm than actually anything shocking. If the videos showcased on that dude's favorite porn site are indeed the grimmest stuff to be found on the deep web, then I suppose the deep web is a bit more tame than I thought. If the most shocking content to be found there is truly just a bunch of gay men fisting each other, then I can probably handle it.

Eh... A bit dull. I suppose if you're into the whole shock horror thing this may be one for your completionist list.. But general audiences will find little reason to seek this one out, even for the sake of intentionally upsetting themselves.

I heard good things and a few bad things about Deep Web XXX, in the end you're the one who has to judge. I was looking forward to it since i knew it's labeled as an extreme movie, i'm being as honest as possible here. I was glad when it was over since i was starting to get bored, they should've turned it into a 65 minute movie (if you can call it a movie) instead of 75 minutes. I started watching it with an open mind but it felt pretencious from the start, a man opens his labtop and surfs to the deep web only to watch a few experimental shorts which are most of the time full of perversion and a little bit of gore. There are a few of them which seem interesting but in the end they felt like Meeeehhhh, i couldn't care for it. I tried to like some of it but nope, the part in the gay dungeon seemed it was going to be a shock but it didn't, non of them did. So that was a waste of time, i do admit that i liked some of the gory special effects but that was it. It felt like they tried to hard to make something shocking but... like i said i didn't care for it, be my guest if you want to judge it for yourself.

Wow. This is bad. There's no story, characters or tension. Basically this is just some dude poking around on the web viewing different "extreme" videos. So, the different "stories" are just clips of people doing supposedly weird, violent and sexual stuff.

In this movie, the guy is supposed to be on the Deep Web as the title says,but the problem is that you can easily find content much more extreme and disturbing on the web without having to go to the deep web.

So then what is the purpose of this movie? There are no characters developed to care about, no stories to capture your interest and absolutely no tension from which to derive any horror. There's just nothing here.
