Gary Lineker appears as Himself (customer). By securing Lineker as a "unique product placement" from Walkers Crisps, producer Josephine Dunn raised match funding from Arts Council of England sufficient to pay the rest of the cast Equity rates and get publicity across all local and national UK newspapers, local and national radio stations, local BBC TV and trade press. The News of the World newspaper even paid Large Scale Productions Ltd. for the publicity article featuring Gary Lineker holding a fish. ACE held this as evidence that they did not just fund elitist arts but art for the people.
