Another reason to NOT travel outside the US

We LOVED this movie. Kept our attention to the very end. Suspenseful and well acted. Lots of Americans who travel throughout the world think that, when things go wrong, everything will work as it does in the US. Sorry.

The really stoopid thing in this movie is near the end. Karissa hits the bad guy with the computer and her and her mom starts to leave the boat but they stop to talk about Lara's condition. How stupid. In real life, they would run like hell.

Boring and predictable.

Lots of hokum and hard to believe this middle aged babe running around with too much hair blowing in the wind is even capable in finding her daughter. This actress is terrible. Bug eyed most of the time and talking tough, we are asked to believe her ranting and snooping. And she needs to have her roots bleached. Best performances come from the supporting cast. You root for the villains in this. Otherwise a waste of time.

Mothers should watch this movie

As a mom of three daughters , this movie had me captivated throughout. Well done and makes you think about it!! Every mother should watch this movie. I enjoyed all of it, feeling like it was possible that this could have been true in life. A little frightening, but not so scary as to not be enjoyable. I really liked the exchange between mother and daughter. I always think about traveling outside of the country, what could happen? I wish there were more movies like this. I even watched it again with one of my daughters. She also loved it, especially since she also has a daughter. Very good movie!

Disgusting

It's always fascinating to think that there are actual "people" in this world who think it's okay to buy and sell humans for money. These are the same people who also have children and would probably kill anyone who messes with their own kid.

Yes this film was very unbelievable, hokey and silly at times but it speaks to a bigger problem of sex traffiking and how (mostly) men get away with this disgusting illegal activity.

The worst part is that you can not trust anyone especially when money is concerned, even the ones pain to protect us.

Was the acting sub-par, yes, yes it was but it was still a decent film to watch as a reminder of what goes on in the world.
