more holes than the mortician dig

This movie could have been so much better done. Decent acting but horrible holes and ridiculous coincidences. Also, another "black people good - white people bad or corrupt" film.

Worth Watching

Worth watching. "Making of a Killing" is twisted tale of intrigue based on a real-life small town murder mystery. Christopher Lloyd plays an aging sex-offender who gets released from jail and returns to find out the town's mayor has double-crossed him. Hats off to Director Devin Hume for capturing this engaging story-line of why some small-town secrets are better left buried.

This has the Coen brothers style written all over it. Amusing, quirky characters and a script full of unexpected twists. Enjoyable.

Great story and character development. Exciting. Loved the mix of suspense and humor. Highly recommend.

Two "Brothers" Breaking Bad in New Mexico

A very effective low budget true crime story. A tad rough and rather flat in a few spots, but overall the direction is fine and the acting is quite good. It's a deliciously sordid story that's served up in a straightforward style. There aren't really any surprises in store, it's pretty obvious what's up with the brothers, but the tale is fairly crazy enough to keep one's interest throughout.
