The Female Brain

I am a retired neuroscientist. The science here is reasonable albeit simplified, and that works. I watched with skepticism and was initially appalled at the investigator's desire to retest until the data was more suitable. That would be nonsense. But the mea culpa resolved that. This indicates the direction was perfect. I was supposed to be upset (tension), and the tension was resolved with humility and self awareness. Brilliant. Each of the four romances were real, both sides were treated fairly. If I were nitpicking I would say the athlete owes more apology but that is the point really. We live with flawed people. We are flawed. Best line: " Jet lag is a social construct". Hilarious.

Interesting... The scientific information about the chemical action of the action of love in the different minds of men and women is more interesting than the script and the novel itself...

No, it's not a documentary. At best it's a smart chick flick. That's not a bad thing though. It tells us a lot about the cerebral differences between males and females and it does it while telling a number of stories. And the stories are good and they're something most people can relate to. But like another viewer said, watch it until the end. Not a waste of time.

I'm really not sure why this film isn't getting better reviews here. It may not be an Oscar contender, but I think it was far more clever, witty, relatable and interesting than any other rom com I've seen in a while.

This is a good movie. It might seem a bit simple in the beginning, but it is logical,analytical,educational, and medium entertaining, but it winds up everything that happens in a touching and beautiful conclusion/ending. Watch it all to the end..
