Star Wars: Battlefront II

If you can overlook the short campaign and the old controversy about the pay system (which they have fixed), then this game is amazing. The multiplayer is super fun with a wide variety of fun scenarios

Although i did enjoy it at the start it added a lot having to unlock heroes, but it was something new that nobody could find the right place for it in their hearts. 2 years later this game has taken a full 180 (a really good comeback) with constant updates, no microtransactions and months even years of fun this game definitely deserves the 9/10

In the beginning, this game was no doubt pay to win. and disappointed many battlefront fans. Its controversy even made it to the news almost dooming the game.

However since then, the developers have turned the game from a controversial pay to win, to a fun star wars game that is just a great game in general. since 2017, they have a whole new progression system, a whole new microtransaction system, and have added a lot of enjoyable content. Heroes like obi wan and anakin have been added, along with villains like General Grievous to Dooku. They have a huge amount of Clone wars content. and have a lot more content coming to the game.

Sure, it still has some flaws, but the games graphics are amazing and its fun to play. My only complaint is the campaigns cliched story line, but i would seriously urge anyone to give the game a second chance, its worth it.

Completely changed from what it used to be , worth a second go with all the new content , definitely reccomend

Since 2017, Battlefront II has evolved into what it was supposed to be. A fun, Star Wars FPS. People like SwanyPlaysGames need to get over the old controversy or when DICE developers delay content. That being said, the additions of Jedi Hunter and Leader of the Droid Army, General Grievous, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, along with Geonosis, and Fallen Jedi Master and Fallen Padawan of Yoda, Count Dooku/ Darth Tyrannus have given players and fans of the Clone War era exactly what they wanted, more content of that era. With Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One coming literally next week, the Prequel Era is ever expanding. The new, non-linear gamemode dropping in March with improved lightsaber combat. Leaked audio files have Grievous interacting with Padmé Amidala and Ahsoka Tano. More clone customization is coming I the game with Anakin also.

People need to give this game a chance now and not write it off or say "too little too late".
