Well, Reza Dormishian directed this project very well I have to confess. Filming the moments and edit scenes like a true movie maker made this movie be a stunning work of art. Actually I rated 9 and 1 star is for the storyline; which could be better, if it was a bit more clarified from the beginning. At first I thought this movie is about coercion in Iran then this topic combined with other topics and even now I have no Idea which topic was the main one!!! This combination although worth's 2 stars; but storyline as I said, could be more clarified. FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO WATCH>>> Actually, if you want to watch a movie to find out most considered problems in Iran, meanwhile following a sad story of bunch of poor people want to act like robin hood and a girl who wants to make Iran a better place with freedom of speech an so on... this is the best choice!!

I think it was a great movie about crime,madness,love,reactions even crazy ones and it's actualy inspired by a true story of forgiveness of a acid trowing victim I actually cried at the last sentance maryam said "now I can go and take other's consent peacfully" .

Lantouri in the Persian language means a person who carries a lantern. This movie is the documentary type of movie which showing the story of a girl who victimized from an acid splashed. The story is very sad but real which happened before in Iran and it was the main headlines of social media and newspapers. The main actor who is Navid Mohammadzadeh, act very well and I believe he played his role very perfect for this movie.

The story is based on a controversial type of revenge which is happening once in a while in some third world's countries.First of all there are a few logical issues with the people reactions about what happened to Maryam,from the beginning of the movie Maryam's friends are talking about her life but they don't show any emotion just because the director wanted to keep everything secret and viewers shouldn't know anything about it,even when a friend is saying that she was first invited by pasha it doesn't make sense at all that how she accepted pasha invitation as an stranger who wants to talk about Maryam,she is even smiled when she said I was the one who connected pasha to Maryam.

The other negative point of the movie is the way that pasha( Navid Mohammadzadeh ) Plays his role.he is pretty much famous for his recent movie called life+1day and he moves his hand exactly like that character in this movie too,it looks like that this is the only character that he can play.

I think this movie was a successful try for the director but it could be made better just by working more on the personalities of the characters.
