Walls of Water

I watched of Water at a Los Angeles film festival screening and was wildly impressed. John Taschner's latest film gives insight into the filmmakers range and work. This film presents stunning imagery and places environmental power before the viewer, further cementing the filmmaker's formidable place among Hollywood's great storytelling writer/directors. Walls of Water shows amazing range in genre, and demonstrates a style that challenges expectation and perception. The imagery and music present an intense and thrilling pace. The cinematography and music were indeed top notch and perfectly mixed, and the film takes the viewer to the location in a point of view style. John Taschner knows how to tell great stories, especially in this action genre. The film s much more than the typical fantasies or special FX often seen in Hollywood production. A surprising and refreshing action film. Top Notch.
