The best show no one is watching.

I have been a devotee of this show since the beginning. I have watched it every Sunday for the past three years and I couldn't be any happier with its evolution. The Leftovers is human, touching, meaningful television. And this episode isn't any less. Laurie isn't the character I like the most but this was one of the best episodes of the whole series. The delivery by Amy and the rest of the cast was top tier and the writing and music was on point as usual. I tend to be quite skeptical when it comes to character-centred episodes, but this one made me sympathize with her so much I cried and didn't want the episode to go. But as Laurie said, "We're all gone". So is the show. Two more weeks until the hidden gem that is The Leftovers leaves. Two more weeks until the best show no one is watching departures.

They portrayed the client lawyer confidentiality but as client therapist. This doesn't exist. They just made things up and the viewers ate it up.

It's not a question of whether or not Lindelof can create realistic universe with believable characters who have convincing character development, it is that he does not care to.

And why should he?

He is writing for the average American, a population that is unable to engage with the world at above a 6th grade reading level.

These people aren't capable of understanding why this show is terrible. These people are so deep in their ignorance they have convinced themselves that anyone who doesn't understand this nonsensical story is the real fool.

Such is the way of fools.

Winter time?

The episode was amazing, but there is an observation during the third season; The weather in Australia in October is nice, the temperature lies between 18- 22 degrees Celsius (70's Fahrenheit) but the it appeared as windy, cold, as winter time which is not accurate with wearing heavy clothing.

And the whole stadium was getting into it, and when the ball came over to our seats you stood up and you just whacked it. It was the first time I'd seen you smile in forever... But then the ball went into the aisle and this usher ran down and grabbed it, and he picked it up and he just squeezed the air out of it. And then everyone just started booing- not just the people in our section but the whole stadium, just booing. He just ruined it for all of them. They just wanted to hit the ball... Why would he want to do that job? Why would anyone?
[starts crying]
Laurie Garvey: [steps forward, wipes Nora's cheek] Because if he doesn't, that ball is gonna' go onto the field. And it'll be fucking chaos.
