Bhat Dey is a Bangali sentence which mean "Give me rice or give me food" and It's English title is -"The Hunger" Director MD Amjad Hossain did a wonderful job.

Bhat dey (the hunger) was released in 1984 but people of 21st century love this movie even now and still watching this movie from different websites along with YouTube.

What is the reason?

I would say- Bhat Dey (The Hunger) is a masterpiece movie.

First of all- It has a strong storyline.

Secondly - Casting was really perfect.

When I watch this movie, it seems to me that It's real.

There is no overacting. We can see in this movie - what can people do for a handful of rice/food.

How was the situation of Bangladesh in a several time.

That's why still It's a popular movie in Bangladesh.

If you want to hear Bangali Music , A sad real life based story Bhat Dey is for you. The movie story line is simple, A boul- folk singer can not able to buy basic commodities as he do not think about family. The music people like but they are not earning enough finally for rice his whole family fall into suffer. Moreover that folk singer(Anwar hossain) Died because of hunger. One beautiful daughter of his fall in rash reality and fight against hunger , lust from society , bad talks and her love.

The movie will mesmerize by giving you emotional pain. How people suffer most because of basic commodities . So next time think twice to waste any food.

The good side is all music represent Bangla folk song . The close shot and acting facial expression will catch you till the end.

The bad side is , it is not 4k video but because of acting , story and dialogue delivery with tone will help you to sit tight 2 hours long.
