Racing Colt

"Racing Colt" is a very gripping story of a washed up action hero who gets a second chance to star in a major film years after his popularity has waned. Eerily similar to Kristofferson in appearance and mannerisms, the lead actor David Atkinson takes the complex character of Colt Racer and runs with it. Well shot and directed and well worth your time.

We really enjoyed this film. The main character is so beautifully written and played that you simultaneously love him and hate him. All the other characters are truthfully and deeply realised too, which makes the film a pleasure to watch. We've all heard rumours about the "dark side of fame", and here you can witness that writ large. Great entertainment.

I really enjoyed this movie. The acting is excellent, and the story is believable and touching. David Atkinson is extremely convincing as a self-destructive movie star. Toby Meuli, as his loyal assistant, gives a nuanced performance that provides a lot of the poignancy. The production values and editing are top-notch.

Racing Colt brings the comedy and the drama in it's portrayal of an ageing has-been star. He is sometimes both sympathetic and frustrating which makes the character feel complex and believable. It is a very relatable and moving story and it has to be seen especially if you love moves about the entertainment business.

Who is looking for a unique Wild West scenario, combined with a real cold blooded "Cowboy" and great Action provided by the fantastic Actors is here exactly right. The film doesn't take place in the desert but still the delivered performances are hot, very satisfying and convincing as much as a Wild West film. There's a smart tensity between the "Cowboy" and his friends and enemies which leads to a high level physical actions through the entire Story. Also the intimacy Scenes fulfills all wishes as those are staged passionately and very powerful. The crazy "in his mind Cowboy" exceeds all limits while seeking for his own confirmation of his power and immortality which leads him to big trouble and blockades because of his human limitations and that's the point where he realizes that he's not God over everything and everyone as he has thought he would be. The processes are manifesting very well and soon the " older crazy Cowboy" has his pay day for all his maniac behavior. I like this film.
