Ryusei-Kacho

This is hilariously listed as a drama on IMDb, when it's possibly one of the silliest and most goofy short films ever made. I would've enjoyed it without the novelty of knowing it was directed by Hideaki Anno, but that fact does add an extra layer to the absurdity.

It's about a man who's really good at finding seats on public transport, and how his skills put him at odds with another person who also considers herself great at finding seats. They do battle, and things get very over-the-top and strange. It might well be the silliest thing Anno has ever directed, and at 13 minutes long, certainly feels worth a watch for fans of his.
