War drama. The first independent work of director Andrei Kravchuk, who in the future will film the good in many respects "Admiral", the shameful "Viking" and a very good "Union of Salvation". I first came across this series two years ago when I was studying the director's work, but then I lost the desire to watch it, a month ago I came across it again, and again passed by. And now, I decided to take a look, since fate hinted at me already three times - and did not regret it. And here's my brief opinion - the working days of the "special" zone. As in any painting, there are both advantages and disadvantages, and now I will tell you about them. Today it turned out without long prefaces, so let's start. So, the advantages: 1. The story told - the series tells about three friends - Sergei Fedotov, Andrei Khomenko and Nurali Aslanbekov, they served in Afghanistan, where they became not just friends, but brothers in spirit, and then fate scattered them in the corners of the former Soviet Union, while, after a while, they again do not agree on one point, where one is a long-term prisoner, the other is the head of this colony, and the third is a general and an inspector from the General Staff of the Russian Federation. Many will say that the script was whistled at the American film "The Last Castle" - everything is possible, I can not say anything, but many elements are really similar, but I will defend our series - the main idea may have been whistled, but adapted into the Russian way. that the Russians, and indeed all the inhabitants of the former Soviet Union, are pleased to see, because everything is native here. The script may not shine with originality, but it keeps me in suspense, that's for sure, because it captured me (though only in the middle). We were pleased with the various references to the significant events of the nineties and early 2000s. 2. Dramaticism - a series about real officers who remained faithful to the oath, despite difficult circumstances and all the blackness, could not do without such scenes. Of course, they will not cause a tear, but they will make you empathize with the heroes. After all, if at first they seem faded and predictable, then after revealing their characters and personal stories, you sincerely worry about them. 3. Humor - at first it unsettled me, but after - it was a great move. Maybe the humor here does not shine with a double meaning and deep philosophical reasoning, but it dilutes the rather tense atmosphere. 4. Colorful heroes - it is clear that they worked on the script (for the most part), and the heroes were prescribed, each of them has his own story, and the main villain turned out not to be a caricature, but a pragmatic cynic, with a clear task, and the actor was selected for this role that you need. Even outwardly, he looks like a villain. So the cons: 1. Musical accompaniment - I came across a version where the same song is played all the time, which on the second listening causes vomiting and a desire to turn down the sound. You can consider it a taste, but she got me pretty sick of it. I am reprimanding the composer, adding it to his personal file. 2. Documentary footage - Andrey Kravchuk, I realized that there was a natural disaster, you don't need to remind me of this at the beginning of each episode! I am not alternatively gifted! I understood! Why was it done? For stretching the timing? If so, then this is a bad reception, if not, then I do not understand something in Russian cinema. 3. Final - I was worried about the heroes, I hoped for success. My expectations were met. But the final shots were a little disappointing. It was - excessive theatricality, in another way, and not to say. Pretentious theatricality. Apparently the director decided to finish his work on a high note. This is not a minus in the full sense, rather a nagging of a boring homophobic snob. Well, the quality of shooting today is lousy. The lack of money is evident, since not only Russia, but also Kazakhstan has invested here (hello to the Kazakh brothers!). Nowadays, not every viewer will be able to endure such a picture with the same lousy filter. A little about the main characters: 1. Sergei Fedotov, performed by Oleg Shtefanko, is a former colonel of the Russian army who was convicted of a crime in Chechnya for a long time. Once in the "special" zone, he realizes that ahead is a fun pastime, and adventures will not be long in coming. Laconic, but honest and fair, a born leader and a real officer, for whom honor and dignity are not an empty phrase. It's not the first time for Oleg to play such heroes - and every time he succeeds. Well done! 2. Nurali Aslanbekov performed by Bakhtiyar Kozha (I hope I correctly bowed my name, if you will forgive me) - colonel of the Russian army, head of the "special" zone, which Fedotov falls into. Their meeting many years later was predictable and dramatic, but the bonds of brotherhood, stretching back from Afgan, cannot be broken. And subsequent events showed it. A loyal officer and a competent boss. Bakhtiyar unambiguously coped with the role. 3. Andrey Khomenko, performed by Igor Livanov, is a general of the Russian army who checks from the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, who had a difficult task. On the one hand, there is an official duty, on the other, brotherly ties and the blood shed jointly for the Fatherland. I always empathized with such heroes, because like this tears the heart and soul of a person literally in half, and the wrong choice will backfire until death. Igor is an experienced actor, and he has to show himself in the frame. Well done! You can describe all the heroes here, but by God it will take a long time, and whether you will vryat read it all to the end. Believe me, they are worthy of attention (although they forgot to write personal stories for some). It was this series that gave the start to director Andrei Kravchuk, experience and acquaintances in the future helped him to shoot a real hit of Russian cinema - "Admiral". Well, his name is not quite accurate - "Comrades Officers" - sounds much better! Well, what about this series? I will say one thing - a real officer is forever! As a result, we have a good series about real officers, whom fate shook hands with, with a good script, bad music, interesting dialogues and good acting.
