What a great original movie

This was really a great movie to watch. So many war movies has been in the cinema the last many years and a lot looks the same. This movie portrays very well the frustrations and challenges and mental battle that exist when a tragedy has happened in war and a young soldier returns to the home country.

It does not really say if the war is right or wrong or other political issues that might arise in such a political issue but merely focus on the personal story. The young guy who has lost his legs and the fight to get back to a normal life. I felt so much with this movie through the stories and the actors are doing an amazing job.

Great job and highly recommended movie to watch.

"This film is partly based on real events.

In 2009, badly wounded soldiers returned home from the war in Afghanistan. The Danish Wounded Warrior project came about with the Royal Danish Ballet Foundation, following an idea of Samuel Rachlin and developed by Troels Askerud and Byron Mildwater.

Two dancers from the Royal Ballet, Jojo Bowman and Jessie Lee, began on a voluntary basis to train pilates with soldiers who suffered from traumatic injuries. Today, the DWWP has grown to become an internationally recognized centre for the rehabilitation of badly wounded soldiers and civilians." (translation from Danish, courtesy of Google Translate)
