Il cinema italiano che apprezzo.

De Sica così è raro. Lucia Mascino è bravissima.

This movie is a gem; one of those you find when you're not looking for anything in particular and... fall in love with. The complexity of our emotions could easily be described as madness to those who don't indulge; like cosmic events, our emotions and our past could leave us stranded, hopelessly struggling with our daily routine. The solar storm is a very nice setting, which allows the movie to develop weirdness and humour in ways i wouldn't have expected; it is also, probably, a positive way to describe how we can overcome our darkest emotions with just a sparkle of hope for the unknown, the future.

This is a fine movie.

Well made Italian Fable

This is a surprising movie and really well-made fable set in northern Italy. I liked the small-scaled story focused on caracters, caracters' feelings and development, dialogues and quirkiness. Highly recommended if you like world cinema and simple, well-made stories.
