Make-up artist Tony Gardner is the subject of this fourteen minute featurette that has him discussing his work on DARKMAN. He starts off talking about how he met Sam Raimi on EVIL DEAD 2 and then he talks about the lie that got him the job on DARKMAN. From here we hear about how he came up with the look of the character including how he designed it thinking that Bruce Campbell was going to be playing the part. He then talks about what he had to change once Liam Neeson came on board. This is a very good featurette from start to finish because Gardner goes into great detail about the process of bringing this character to life and he tells some great stories dealing with the creation. He also talks very highly of Neeson and what he was able to do with all that make-up on. Fans of DARKMAN will certainly enjoy this featurette as well as those who want to learn more about make-up.
