I didn't know the Groom's mother was Jaclyn Smith (One of the original Charlie's Angels). I wish I would have recognized her when I was watching the movie. The guy who played Luke is cute too! My favorite part of this movie is when the Bride said to her Groom 'We don't have what most people who are in love have'. I knew she meant a romance and flame....well, he was married to his profession. Thanks Hallmark for a cute flick!
I watched this movie purely because I saw that Arielle Kebbel and Andrew Walker were together again. Like every girl who saw it, "A Bride for Christmas" is one of my favorite Hallmark romances.
While it wasn't as good as their previous movie together, "Bridal Wave" was still a really good effort.
Arielle was, as ever, a strong female lead, and she made the audience sympathize with her. Her character was sweet and dependable, yet she had the right amount of spunk to combat Andrew's character. While I hated the buzz cut that Andrew Walker was sporting, he was still charming and funny, and I really liked how he came to see something in Arielle's "Georgie".
The penultimate confrontation made me laugh and I really enjoyed how the movie ended. It wasn't cliché which was a breath of fresh air.
The gorgeous surrounding scenery was also a plus.
Well done, Hallmark.

Please don't go after the reviews you see ! It was such a good movie. One of the best from Hallmark. It might have been predictable for some but whats wrong with that when its such a perfect one ? Andrew Walker and Ariella Kebel have become my favorites after watching this movie. I wish there were more movies like this one that pleasantly surprise you and sort of make you believe that the right one is out there and you don't want someone who just suits you, but someone who genuinely cares about you and loves you for who you are. Bridal Wave is one of those movies for me which you can watch over and over again and still feel good about them. Its one I will remember for a long time.
A favorite of mine because the story is a bit out of the ordinary for Hallmark (don't worry, it's mostly the same happy-ending lovable pop-writing that we love and adore). Arielle Kebler is underutilized by Hallmark. She's acting great, creates a believable character, and shows progression. So does her supporting cast, led by J. Smith who must have sold her soul or first-born to remain so beautiful through time! Mr. Walker is the William Holden of Hallmark and will always deliver. This does more than the average Hallmark to set the brand. Anyone should enjoy it.
