The acting wasn't too bad. The story was confusing and the pacing didn't help. It was hard to watch until the end and then it pissed me off because it was so awful.
Very tenuous link to sleep paralysis, which has little to do with the plot of the movie and, at the end, I was left wondering what that had to do, if anything, with the film as a whole. It seems it was put in there just to add an extra layer of suspense in order to spice up what is in essence a rather dull movie.
As for the ending. I couldn't even fathom a guess of what that was supposed to mean.
This film had a few slow moments, but overall, it was quite engaging and held my attention throughout. The storyline is well-constructed and thoughtfully laid out, showcasing a plot that, while having room for improvement, is compelling in its delivery. The stellar production quality and strong performances from the cast significantly compensated for any narrative shortcomings, bringing the characters and their dilemmas to life with great effect.
The film excels in delivering suspense and intrigue, effectively keeping you on the edge of your seat as the plot twists and turns through dark and unexpected territories. It's a quintessential thriller that masterfully plays with tension and psychological drama, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre.
Additionally, the cinematography and musical score are noteworthy, as they significantly contribute to the film's intense atmosphere. The visual style enhances the thematic elements of the story, while the score underpins the suspenseful scenes with a haunting resonance, making the overall experience thoroughly memorable and engaging. This film is a strong contender in its genre, offering both thrills and a thoughtful exploration of its central themes.

It's like when a teacher gives you a homework assignment and you play with words on your paper to make it look long but it has 0 content in it, because you never did any research and wrote just the most basic ideas ever.
The acting was bleh, soundtrack was pretty nice and did create a tiny bit of atmosphere (because the characters couldn't). I'd suggest not to watch it (I did watch all of it), also it has a very open ending.
If you are into psychology, lucid dreams, dreams or sleep paralysis, you won't learn anything most likely, except that this movie will show you how much you actually know on those subjects and you will feel superior. Also watching this movie I thought it will get in depth and all I left was with wanting more, because it never got deep, just gave off some illusion of hope.
P.S Also this movie is very predictable and doesn't even hide it, just to end it with "oh so who did it?" and it's never answered. And rossalex231, I believed in your review, you're a scam.

The acting was some of the worst I've seen in years. The two cops in this literally made me bust cry with laughter. It's almost as if someone went on Google, did some sketchy research on dreams and made a movie. You could tell in the trailer the acting might be bad, but the graphic scenes they show in the trailer are much more underwhelming inside the actually movie.
