TV: The Fabulous Fifties

Much of this special was in black and white. This was a TV special of the 1950s, from all of the networks, not just the NBC-TV programs. Groucho Marx dealt with a contestant whose surname was Gonzalez-Gonzalez. Mary Martin soared as Peter Pan to 'I'm Flying.' The leading actors of 'Bonanza' tried singing their theme song - their horses would have sounded better. Eva Marie Saint and Paul Newman sang the duet 'Our Town.'
