Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane

Loved every minute of it!

I consider myself very lucky to have discovered them (first through some music on Spotify) and this series. Extremely silly, absurd humour with great music, and great performances of all actors in the show.

Shame it apparently wasn't very popular, I would've loved another season!

This show is fantastic, hilarious, and should have received a much bigger audience. It is such a shame how few people got to see this show. So, if you somehow have a way of watching this hidden gem I highly recommend it.

This is one of the rudest, yet funniest shows I've seen in ages. Every episode has so many comedic layers, I was always second guessing myself with how many twists and turns and I could not stop laughing all throughout. It also has such a beautiful pacing, it went from beginning to end without it getting boring in the slightest. I also loved how dated everything looked, from the set design, to the filters they used in post-production, it all feels like a love letter to the 80s.

Unfortunately, this show was not successful when it first aired on Australian television. Barely anyone saw this show when it came out, but, fortunately it is on ABC IVIEW if you ever want to watch it.

When I first discovered this I was worried it would reek of a tryhard spinoff nature that falls short of the hilarious skits, song's and stand-up's of these two, together or separately, that I've often enjoyed in the past but infact I was pleasently surprised as I found belly laugh after comical and innovative belly laugh.

The supporting cast is very good at helping the whacky storylines move forward and it's as always with the genuinely fun and funny style of our two main heroes who can only be described as Australia's most charasmatic frenemies. With the odd lyric changed parades, that you never know when they're going to beeak into in each show of old classic songs from yesteryear pertaining to the current dilemma/subject at hand, it really lends a warming element to the episodes you will not find anywhere else.

If you like Sammy J and Randy, and you can let yourself go and be open to anything, you'll find this a hit!

If you are ever lucky enough to see this, you should review. So few people watched this in Australia and was added to English Netflix. It is hilarious and deserves a much bigger watching than it got.
