Despite it's length (you can watch the whole movie in your coffee- break if you wish) it's almost as good as the novel it's originated from. The mood and the atmosphere are both spectacular (awesome 50s costumes and props). Stijn Keuleers (as the Guardian) was a perfect find for the role. The support role actresses are talented as well. Don't let the spoken language of the movie discourage you, the English subtitles are good, and the language just help to straighten the "weirdness" of the flick ("weird" in a good way). The music fits to the dark-ish, otherworldly theme of the story. Overall: a very good, short artistic film, with an interesting story, that will make you think. Oh, and grab the novel if you have a chance, or if you need clarification about the story.
