The Bush Knife

Enjoy every moment of it. Yes it's low budget but still a good film to watch.

I like this film for one thing. That it focused on having an ordinary person who becomes this hero instead of what we are shown by Hollywood. It deserves it's chance and we need more films like this. Well done to the director.

I love the direction the film was going in. I think with a bigger budget this film can be so much bigger.

Alot of local films focus on comedy which gets boring at times. It's actually a nice change. I really hope that there will be sequals in the future or even a series.

The Bush Knife is an epic thriller action that gives a South African take on the anti-hero genre. The first real hero for the Indian South African community. The film has a lot of story but not once do you feel bored. One of the best local films I've seen so far.

Not many films try to be different. But this is one of the few action/thrillers that shocked and amazed audience with it's dark and gritty imagery and a few light comical moments. The best actor in the film is Ryan Mayne who is outstanding as the main villain.
