WWE SmackDown was held at the Td Garden venue in Boston, Massachusetts, for the 19th time. One of the most anticipated events of the match was Sami Zayn returning to settle the score with Solo Sikoa and the MFTs. The Motor City Machine Guns shined early, using their incredible chemistry to isolate and neutralize Mateo, which kept the hulking Tonga away from the action. The towering Tonga, however, refused to stay down and threw Sabin to the floor, allowing his team to take control of the matchup. The Motor City Machine Guns fought back but were still banged up from their TLC Match at SummerSlam, and one chokeslam from Tonga ended the match.

Friday Night SmackDown this week was power-packed, intense, and jaw-dropping to the core. Sheamus and Rusev continued their epic rivalry, trading haymakers and brutality as Sheamus hit an enormous White Noise from the top rope. The Celtic Warrior slammed Rusev on the table, but The Bulgarian Brute threw Sheamus into the ring steps. Rusev mocked Sheamus, delivering his own version of The Beats of the Bodhran outside the ring. Sheamus pummeled Rusev with the classic 10 Beats of the Bodhran. After the two sets of the Beats of the Bodhran, Rusev and Sheamus were counted out. After the match, Sheamus and Rusev kept brawling, despite officials trying to separate them.

Monday Night Raw at Brooklyn was as nerve-wrecking as it could’ve been. Several prominent WWE superstars clashed with one another after the show went off-air. This particularly involved Cm Punk, who interfered during the main event of the night against Seth Rollins and LA Knight with the World Heavyweight title on the line.

These behind-the-scenes incidents exposed the realities of storylines in the company. While Seth Rollins’s power-packed faction appears to be becoming a dominant force, the babyface faction WWE is trying to position against them simply lacks the synergy required to work as a team. The altercation after the show also points out how Triple H is overcrowding the contenders for the World Heavyweight title.

Night 1 of WWE’s first-ever two-night SummerSlam was a spectacle packed with drama, surprises, and a massive twist to close the show! Things kicked off with a high-energy opening segment, and from the jump, it was clear WWE wanted this to feel like a blockbuster event. The crowd was buzzing, and the stadium setting gave everything a larger-than-life feel. But the card itself didn’t always live up to that scale.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill for the Women’s Championship was a short but impactful bout. Stratton dominated more than expected, brushing off Cargill’s power offence and dispatching her in under 10 minutes. It was a definitive win, but arguably too decisive for what was billed as a marquee women’s match.

In tag team action, Randy Orton and Jelly Roll teamed up to face Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. This was better than it had any right to be.

SummerSlam 2025 is in the books, and there’s a lot to talk about, but one thing that really stood out was the awesome and unique gear worn by the wrestlers. As Bliss was about to execute Twisted Bliss, Rodriguez attacked Flair, which forced Bliss to hit a top-rope Twisted Bliss onto Rodriguez on the floor. The fracas at ringside allowed Perez to roll up Bliss while using the ropes for the win.

The Women’s Intercontinental Title remains with Becky Lynch after she retained in an incredible Triple Threat Match against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley. The raucous Atlanta crowd roared in approval to begin the bout as all three Superstars looked to emerge victorious in the title fight.

WWE Evolution just wrapped up, and wow, the stakes seriously couldn’t have been higher for the women’s division. The biggest names in the game, Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Trish Stratus, and Becky Lynch, went head-to-head in a night packed with fierce battles for glory and pride.

We got some absolute fire matches, the kind that remind you how far the women’s division has come. Huge props to Triple H for this transformation; he’s taken the division from being sidelined and treated like filler to giving it proper stories, rivalries, and even whole events. It’s no longer an afterthought; it’s a full-blown attraction that fans genuinely care about.

Sure, Triple H’s decisions have had their share of backlash, and some people felt the event was rushed or lacked build-up, but in the end, Evolution delivered. It hit hard, and honestly? It was a total banger.

The women of WWE saw the return of the historic Evolution 2025 Premium Live Event that took place on July 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the second edition of the show that took place seven years after the first event. However, there was one woman who was not present who paved the way for the show to happen: Sasha Banks.
