You could call Dutch cop comedy Popoz a regional response to the Jump Street films and not be too far off, though I have a hunch you'd be selling it just a touch short by doing so. Directed by Martijn Smits and Erwin van den Eshof - the duo responsible for Dutch zombie comedy Zombibi - the feature is expanded out from the duo's Comedy Central television series of the same name which ran for a six episode series in 2013 with a standalone special following in 2014. Generally speaking, meteorites kind of suck. When they’re not violently obliterating major cities, these evil otherworldly rocks are transforming innocent human beings into flesh-eating zombies.
