Ahead of the film’s release next week, DC Studios Co-Chief James Gunn reveals what music his “Superman” characters listen to, partnering with Spotify to create personalized playlists for each character in the upcoming movie.

The curated playlists reveal what Clark Kent, Lex Luthor, Eve Teschmacher, Metamorpho, and The Engineer would listen to, with each selection hand-picked by Gunn himself. He also recorded commentary explaining his choices for every track.

“I’m obsessive about music so I am excited to have partnered with Spotify and created a character playlist: What the characters from Superman listen to,” Gunn said. “I probably had more fun doing this than anything else I’ve done in the past couple of years… I had to really think about who they were as people and imagine what kind of music they’d be into.”

The Picture of Dorian Gray officially has recouped its investment, producers announced. The play starring Succession‘s Sarah Snook in a solo performance was reportedly capitalized at more than $8 million.

Producers have not confirmed the capitalization amount.

The recoupment announcement comes days after the production’s June 29 final performance. The high-tech production reported a record-breaking final-week gross of $2,092,069, the highest weekly take for the production and the first time it surpassed $2 million in a single week.

The $2M figure marks the second-highest weekly gross for any show, play or musical, in the history of the Music Box Theatre, topped only by Dear Evan Hansen during the week ending December 31, 2017. Throughout its extended run, Kip Williams’ adaptation of the Oscar Wilde novel repeatedly topped its own box office records and holds the distinction of being the only non-musical play to gross more than $1 million in a week at the 104-year-old venue.

Updated, 12:28 Pm: German authorities have charged a suspect in the plot “to kill a huge number, tens of thousands of people” at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna last year.

The young man, described as a juvenile and identified only as Mohammad A, is charged with supporting a foreign terrorist group, Islamic State, and aiding another suspect in prepping for the attack.

In a statement, German prosecutors said: “Mohammad A has adhered since April 2024 at the latest to the ideology of the terrorist organization Islamic State (Is). Between mid-July and August 2024, he was in contact with a young adult from Austria who was planning a bomb attack on a concert by singer Taylor Swift in Vienna.”

German authorities have arrested a Syrian national on allegations of supporting a terrorist organization over the foiled terrorist attack for Taylor Swift’s canceled Eras Tour concerts in Vienna last year.

In a press release, authorities identified the national as Mohammad A., a minor, saying that Mohammad had followed ideology of the terrorist group Isis since at least April of 2024.

“Between mid-July and August 2024, he was in contact with a young adult from Austria who was planning a bomb attack on a concert by singer Taylor Swift in Vienna,” Germany’s prosecutor general said. “The accused assisted the adolescent in his preparations by, among other things, translating bomb-making instructions from Arabic and establishing contact with an Is member abroad via the internet. The accused also provided the adolescent with a text template for the oath of allegiance to Is, which he used to join the organization.”

A friendship bracelet that hung on the Caesars Superdome during her three sold-out Eras Tour concerts in New Orleans last fall has apparently been sold to Taylor herself, via local news.

According to the Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District, which is the state board that manages the dome, a buyer purchased the 140-foot-long inflatable for $13,000, and the deal is expected to go through.

Per People, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said that his client, despite promising to do so, will not be amending his lawsuit but "will be pursuing additional legal options" against Lively. Essentially, Freedman says that they will be moving ahead with discovery in the case, and they intend to prove that there was no sexual harassment at the hands of Baldoni against Lively and that there was no smear campaign to ruin her reputation.
