The historic all-women’s boxing card, presented by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, features 21 world titles on the line across five championship fights. For Friday’s fight, Irish fighter Taylor, 39, will defend her undisputed junior welterweight titles. Puerto Rican fighter Serrano, 36, will attempt to even the playing field and win her first match over Taylor.

Each episode shows two chefs competing in a single-round, winner-take-all showdown with a $10,000 cash prize at stake along with the losing chef’s most coveted knife. Boxer Laila Ali is set as the host of new Food Network series “Chef Grudge Match,” which will debut on the cable channel and HBO Max in August.

According to a source close to the situation, the series is considered a revamp of the Darnell Ferguson-hosted “SuperChef Grudge Match” format, which the network liked, with a new talent that they are “excited about and who works for the premise in a very organic way.”

The announcement comes on the heels of Ferguson pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges connected with past allegations of domestic violence against his wife on May 13, per Louisville, Kentucky’s Courier Journal.

The series will debut on Prime Video, but has not yet announced a release date. It will feature both classic challenges from the original series and all-new events. The Miz (real name Michael Gregory Mizanin) appeared in several reality TV series before appearing on the WWE competition series Tough Enough, which launched his wrestling career in 2004. He has been a fixture in the federation ever since, playing a brash, fame-obsessed villain who can back up his boasts in the ring.

Now, Deadline is reporting that Amazon has ordered a newer incarnation of American Gladiators for Prime Video. The rebooted series will be produced by MGM Alternative and Amazon MGM Studios for the streaming giant in association with Flor-Jon Films, the production company from American Gladiators co-creator Johnny C. Ferraro, who exec produces. All the fan-favorite games will be making a glorious return.

It celebrates the anniversary of the order made by Major General Gordon Granger on June 1965 that proclaimed freedom for slaves in Texas. The order was actually made two years after Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

In a tweet Monday, former President Obama explained it as the “delayed but welcome news of freedom reaching the enslaved Black folks in Galveston, Texas.” In 2021, President Biden made Juneteenth a federal holiday.

Nyong’o won the limited performance in a children’s program Emmy for playing the Storyteller, in Netflix’s “Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices. Hammil was named outstanding performer in a preschool animated program for Disney Channel’s “Elena of Avalor.”

Supplementing the 48th Annual Daytime Emmys telecast on CBS last month, the Daytime Emmys Children’s & Animation awards will be handed out on Saturday, July 17 at 8 p.m. Et, while the Daytime Emmys Fiction & Lifestyle awards will be announced on Sunday, July 18, ay 8 p.m. Both events will be streamed on NATAS’ Emmy Ott platform.

Variety has announced additional programming for its virtual Power of Women summit, presented by Lifetime, taking place Oct. 28 and 29. The panels will feature prominent women in the industry who create content that empowers communities.

The newly announced panels include an exclusive first look at the upcoming season of “The Crown,” joined by Gillian Anderson (who plays Margaret Thatcher) and Emma Corrin (who plays the Princess of Wales, Diana).
