Despite featuring more superpowered beings, aka metahumans, than any of the previous ventures of Man of Steel, Superman never feels too crowded, as each of the characters are given proper arcs, justifying their presence in the movie. Rex Mason, aka Metamorpho, the Element Man, is crucial to the narrative given how his actions provide a greater look at the question of humanity integral to the plotline. Additionally, Rex and his son, Joseph, might prove to be a significant addition to the Dcu, and to explore that, I would like to discuss and refer to their comic-book counterparts.
