Bruce Dickinson has announced a 2025 North American tour, his first solo outing of the continent in nearly 30 years.
The late summer/early fall outing will be in support of the Iron Maiden frontman’s latest solo LP, The Mandrake Project. Dates kick off August 22nd in Anaheim, California, and run through October 5th in Los Angeles. Along the way, Dickinson and his band will make festival stops at Rocklahoma (August 31st) and Louder Than Life (September 21st).

Bruce Dickinson performed a two-night stand at the iconic Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, California, marking his first solo non-spoken-word concerts in 22 years.
The last-minute “secret” gigs took place Friday (April 12th) and Saturday (April 13th) and served as a warmup for Dickinson’s international tour supporting his new album The Mandrake Project. A third California warmup gig is also slated for Monday night (April 15th) at The Observatory in Santa Ana.

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson has announced a revamped band lineup for his upcoming solo tour in support of his new album The Mandrake Project, as well as a warm-up show set for April 15th in California’s Orange County.
The warm-up gig at the Observatory in Santa Ana is actually the only US date on Dickinson’s 2024 itinerary thus far. It will precede a Latin American jaunt that kicks off a few days later and a UK/European tour set to launch in May and run all the way through July. Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden has shared a teaser for the song “Afterglow of Ragnarok,” the lead single from his upcoming solo album, The Mandrake Project (arriving sometime in 2024). He has also added a run of 2024 UK/European tour dates in support of the LP.
The teaser is only 27 seconds long and appears to be a snippet of a chorus refrain, with Dickinson busting out a rare growl for the titular phrase: “Afterglow of Ragnarok!” We can already deduce that the song has a epic metal sound, a la Iron Maiden, with surging guitars and prominent synths.
The full track will be available on December 1st in 7″ vinyl form accompanied by an eight-page “prequel” comic and a B-side featuring Dickinson’s demo for the Iron Maiden track “If Eternity Should Fail” (originally released on 2015’s The Book of Souls).
