That kind of worldbuilding, presenting a lived-in world from the start full of established heroes and villains, is exactly what Gunn is going for with the Dcu, and Harley Quinn could teach the franchise some lessons.

Harley Quinn is a 2019 film focusing on the titular character's evolution after severing ties with the Joker. As she seeks to establish herself as an independent force in Gotham City's criminal underworld, the film explores her journey toward becoming Gotham's criminal Queenpin.

Fans have missed seeing Emily O’Brien on Days of Our Lives, whether it’s as Theresa or Gwen. The popular soap actress sent many of them into a frenzy sharing a surprising new look. She shared a selfie on an October 15 Instagram post, debuting a short bob in a black turtleneck. The 39-year-old wrote, ““Snip Snip #italianbob.” This looks like a fresh cut considering the photo was taken in the driver’s seat of her car. The response was universally loved by enthusiasts and Days actors alike. On Tuesday, October 15, O’Brien shared a new selfie on Instagram. She looked completely different with her short bob. The soap star wore a chunky black turtleneck. Her look was finished off with groomed brows and light pink lipstick.

The first season of 10 episodes recently debuted on Hulu and Peacock on October 2. In my review, I wrote that the inaugural season “offers enough supernatural charm, heart, and whimsy to endear Soleil and her friends to viewers, hoping to see their ascension to full hero in the future.

The animated horror series “Fright Krewe” has been renewed for Season 2 at Hulu and Peacock, Variety has learned exclusively.

The 10-episode first season was released on Oct. 2. The second season is expected to launch in 2024, though an exact premiere date has not been set.

The series hails from creators Eli Roth and James Frey and DreamWorks Animation. According to the official logline, “An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries. A new mockumentary culinary series titled Gods of Food is set to premiere on subscription-based streaming service Dropout by CollegeHumor next month, the streamer announced today.

The six-episode season will skewer a range of fine dining tropes, that are all too familiar to fans of cooking shows.

The series was created and written by CollegeHumor cast member and head writer Rekha Shankar, who also serves as an executive producer.

“Cooking shows are one of my favorite things to watch,” said Shankar. “But while the most gorgeous food shows are full of love and passion, they can also be full of dysfunctional personalities and bizarre ideas. I hope Gods of Food resonates with foodies like me in that it’s full of beautiful food, but also pokes fun at some of the tendencies of culinary shows.”
