Dread hosted last night - in conjunction with First Look Studios, The American Cinematheque and club Les Deux - the L.A. premiere of filmmaker Tim Sullivan’s splatstick feature 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, and while the bulk of the coverage is on its way from Dread Central’s Cricket Lee, below check out a handful of stills and video of yours truly welcoming director Sullivan to the stage.

Regardless of the sweltering summer heat, the event was packed, with 2001 Maniacs cast members Bill Moseley, Lin Shaye, Christa Campbell, Ahmed Best, Trevor Wright, Adam Robitel, Katy Marie Johnson, Asa Hope, Alana Curry, Alex Luria, Larayia Gaston, Christopher McDaniel, Miles Dougal, Nicole Rae, Andrea Leon, Clifford Allen Wagner and Kathryn Le in attendance for the red carpet and premiere.
