While both current Walking Dead universe spinoffs are on hiatus, the official Walking Dead social media accounts are keeping fans engaged with behind-the-scenes insight into the recent second season of Dead City and the upcoming third season of Daryl Dixon. The clips, titled "Behind the Dead," drop every Monday with exclusive content on the production of the zombie-centered dramas.

The video, which dropped on Aug. 11, showcased the drama when The Dama burned in Dead City, but the Daryl Dixon material has a much more optimistic lean as it reveals the love story between young couple Justina and Roberto, which will be at the heart of the third season, releasing next month.

The Houston Broadway Theatre is bringing an updated version of American Psycho: The Musical to Houston next month, featuring a new script and a revised score from co-creators Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis and inspired by the cocaine-fueled Manhattan of the 1980s, the musical focuses on Patrick Bateman, a young investment banker who seems to have it all. The trouble is he has homicidal urges and his friends keep disappearing.

The novel was previously dramatized with a 2000 film adaptation starring Christian Bale, and has a new adaptation on the way.

Sheik and Aguirre-Sacasa’s American Psycho musical made its Broadway debut in 2016, playing a brief, 54-performance run at the Schoenfeld Theatre. The musical proved a bigger success overseas, completely selling out its world premiere run at London’s Almeida Theatre in 2013, with Matt Smith leading the production.

Furia has been doing an excellent job when it comes to rewinding its plotlines and focusing the lens on the women characters who cross each other’s path, creating an elaborate playground of butterfly effects. In the last two episodes, we have been able to see more and more of the threads that have woven the tapestry of crimes and punishments of the show up until this point. As Marvel gears up to cast actors for the X-Men reboot, fans have called out a volunteer for throwing his name in for Sunspot. Sunspot, a.k.a. Robert Da Costa, is an Afro-Brazilian mutant with the power to absorb solar radiation and generate heat and energy with the power of the sun. He was seen in the animated series X-Men ‘97.

There have been two live-action portrayals of Da Costa, with Adan Canto, who is Mexican, played him in X-Men: Days of Future Past, while Henry Zaga, a Brazilian actor, played him in The New Mutants. However, Zaga is not Black, and that was a huge criticism at the time.

Fans have rightfully called out influencers who are throwing their hat in the ring for Da Costa, especially when other White characters like Cyclops and Iceman are also available.
